Welcome to my personal site, where I keep track of all my professional projects and misadventures.
For those who don’t know me, I am a blogger and freelance journalist covering politics and the built environment. I’m new to the game, but I’ve been published before in Creative Loafing and In These Times. I blog at Vortices and Open Urbanism.
Before I started freelancing, I worked at a marketing company in Washington, DC. (See why I left that job here.) Before that, I was a mathematics major at Georgetown University, where I was heavily involved in student journalism and government. I grew up in Marietta, Ga., and went to Walton High School.
I’d love to hear from you. Feel free to contact me to propose a new project, express love or scorn, or just say hi.
