Welcome to my personal site! Here you can find information about my professional life as well as an updated feed of my projects. Please feel free to connect with me on social media or through the contact form on this site.
Since August 2018, I’ve been an M.S. Analytics student at Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business. The program focuses on data programming, machine learning, database management, and statistical modeling. In college, I studied mathematics and statistics from a mostly theoretical perspective. It’s been rewarding to put this knowledge to practical use both in the classroom and in outside projects.
Before starting at Georgia State University, I worked for two years at Go Fish Digital, a marketing company based in Tysons, VA and Raleigh, NC. Although I enjoyed working for such a dynamic company, I eventually decided I needed to leave to pursue another career path that would be rewarding to me in the long term. After spending a few months traveling, working part-time, and taking graduate courses that interested me, I came across Georgia State’s MSA program.
I spend part of my time working at Hop City Craft Beer & Wine, Atlanta’s premier beer retailer. I also participate in Toastmasters—the world’s largest organization devoted to helping members practice public speaking skills.
I have several data science projects in the works. Unfortunately, between school and work, there’s never enough time to work on them. I plan on finishing them in December, when I have some time off school. In the meantime, check out some of the work I already have published.
Although I’m still in school, I am seeking an internship for summer 2018 in data science or analytics. Feel free to contact me with any opportunities for which you think I might be a good fit.
